Yesterday I wrote about the first part of Kathy and Ted’s beautiful destination wedding in Mexico, and today I’m excited to share part two!
After the ceremony, we headed down to the beach in front of the Gran Caribe Real to relax a little before the reception and capture some beautiful portraits. I had such a great time getting to know Kathy and Ted’s wedding party; they were such an awesome group of people to work with. After we spent some time walking around the grounds of the resort, Kathy and Ted headed off to take some time alone before their grand entrance into the reception, I headed to the beach in front of The Royal for the cocktail hour. Kathy and Ted’s reception was beyond amazing… fire dancers, a mariachi band during cocktail hour, fireworks for their grand entrance, unbelievable food, and a lit up dance floor. And their friends and family kept that dance floor packed all night!
Once again, I can’t say how much fun I had shooting Kathy and Ted’s wedding. I LOVE destination weddings, and I hope I’ll be shooting a few more in 2011.
