One of my goals for this year is to develop a good working relationship with some local New York City wedding vendors, so I have people to recommend to my couples when they ask about officiants, florists, wedding planners, hair stylists… etc.  If you’re involved in the wedding industry, I want to buy you a cup of coffee and hear all about you and your business.  I’d like to be able to put together a little packet of business cards to give to my couples when they book me.  I want to be able to say, “Yes, I know this person and they will do an incredible job at your wedding.”

Ideally I’d like to work with small businesses who are just getting started in the industry, and who have ethical business practices.  That means you’re not telling couples, “Oh you HAVE to have flowers this way; you HAVE to have your ceremony that way.”  I’m looking for people who are in this industry because they genuinely love working with couples and are passionate about what they do.

I’d also love to do some head shots for any vendors just getting started that don’t have head shots for their website yet… for free!  A lot of people helped me when I first got started as a photographer in this industry, so if I can give that back in some way, I’m always happy to.

So if you’re a vendor – whether you need head shots or not – please contact me, and let me know if you’d be up for getting together and talking weddings!  I’m also hoping to do a styled shoot sometime in the late spring, so I’d love to find some people to collaborate with on that as well.
