I’m a little late getting Rosslyn and Daniel‘s full session live on the blog, but it is finally here!
Rosslyn and Daniel have been married for eighteen months, so this wasn’t really my typical couples portrait session. Most of my clients are engaged, but it was so much fun to work with a couple who is on the other side of that, and still totally crazy about each other. They were visiting New York from Australia and wanted some professional portraits to commemorate their first trip to the US.
I met them at The Plaza and we started the session there, capturing a few photographs in their room and in the hallway. I had never been in The Plaza before, and it was just as lovely as I imagined it would be. After that we headed into Central Park, to brave the cold and snow for some iconic New York City photos. I had such an amazing time getting to know them both throughout the afternoon. They are such a wonderful couple, and such joyful people. They were such a good reminder that even after you’re married, you should remember to take time to have your portrait taken together.
Rosslyn and Daniel, I hope you had a fabulous time in the US! And I have to say, I’m pretty jealous right about now that you are out of the cold and back to a nice summery climate!
