I mentioned the other day that I would be participating in the Bloggers Day of Silence tomorrow to raise money for Shelterbox, in honor of the Japan earthquake and tsunami.  Shelterbox is an amazing organization, and if you have not yet made a donation toward relief efforts in Japan, I implore you to please do so now.

Shelterbox provides emergency shelter and lifesaving supplies for families around the world who are affected by disasters at the time when they need it the most. Each large, green ShelterBox is tailored to a disaster but typically contains a disaster relief tent for an extended family, blankets, water storage and purification equipment, cooking utensils, a stove, a basic tool kit, a children’s activity pack and other vital items.  With so many people displaced, Shelterbox is fulfilling a very real and necessary need in Japan, but they need your help to keep going.

If you are a blogger, I urge you to become a part of For Japan with Love and participate in the Bloggers Day of Silence, to help raise awareness of fundraising efforts.  Every little bit helps.

Thank you in advance for donating!  See you Saturday!  xoxo
