Olive has never really been my cat. Sure, I’ll do in a pinch, but it’s really John that she loves. John who wasn’t the cat lover in our little family. But now she has him wrapped around her paw. As soon as he walks in the door, Olive is on his lap in a flash, purring away and demanding attention. As if I have starved her for attention all day.
