Zan & Stephen Married! (Part 1) || Upstate New York || NY Wedding Photographer

I normally don’t break up weddings into two posts, but there’s just so much from Zan & Stephen’s wedding that I loved, that I’m going to post half today and half on Monday. I don’t typically get repeat wedding clients – which is a very good thing – but Zan & Stephen are the exception. In February I was fortunate enough to photograph their sweet City Hall elopement, and last month I headed up to their beautiful farm Upstate for their big wedding.

I was immediately struck by what incredible people Zan & Stephen surround themselves with – from the other vendors they chose to work with to their friends and family – every person there was so amazing. The love everyone there has for Zan & Stephen was instantly apparent. I don’t want to talk too much about the wedding itself, because I’m sure Zan will be doing her own recaps soon, but it was one of my favorite weddings this year so far.

Here is the first part of Zan & Stephen’s wedding, with much more to come on Monday. Huge thank you to my awesome second shooter Kelly Prizel, and Ang of Lowbrow Events for making the day run so smoothly. (And for bringing me coffee when I needed it.) Zan & Stephen, you know I adore you so much.

Stunning. Every last one of them. Seriously.

Love love love love love love LOVE!!! I can’t wait for the second part! I love that bridal portrait of Zan looking so serene and the green leaves on her. Also… I tried to look at this post earlier but your blog was bandwidth-exceeded… which is pretty darn awesome. People broke your blog in order to see your photos!! :D

beautiful Katie. Your colors are so perfect, & I LOVE the John Deer shots. Yes! Zach is so beautiful too. Way to rock those Cowboy boots!

Thanks so much, ladies! Zan & Stephen rule.

Elissa – I actually can’t take credit for that portrait of Zan through the leaves. That one was Kelly’s! I loved it so much.

Such great great great photos. And what a stunning couple. Swoon.

Funny that you all love the green leaves shot. I am not looking serene, I am trying not to laugh!

ahhh!! finally getting to see these photos after being away all weekend. SO AWESOME. can’t wait to see part II.

Aww, so adorable! Also, as a former farmgirl, I’m loving the inclusion of cows and tractors.
