What are you doing on August 25th? Nothing? Okay, good. I have something super awesome for you to do. You’re going to go to a fabulous party to celebrate marriage equality and dance your face off. So round up your friends, find a babysitter, and maybe go ahead and take August 26th off from work so you can sleep in the day after the party.
A Practical Wedding and Lowe House Events are throwing a mass reception at 320 Studios in Midtown Manhattan to celebrate the passing of the marriage equality bill in New York and raise money for Lambda Legal. The space is absolutely incredible and they have an amazing DJ lined up, an open bar, and limited edition Yay New York tote bags for sale. You don’t have to be an A Practical Wedding reader or sponsor… you just have to be someone who wants to celebrate this historic moment and help raise some money for a deserving cause.
Tickets are only $20 (open bar! dancing! marriage equality!) with a suggested donation of $40 at the door to Lambda Legal. So BUY YOUR TICKET NOW because I don’t think they are going to last long, and I don’t think you want to be left out.
So who’s in?
