Something really exciting recently happened, and I just wish it had happened before I got married! Meg Keene – creator of A Practical Wedding – wrote a book! For those of you that follow APW as religiously as I do, you’ll know that yesterday was the Great APW Book Buy. The APW community banded together as one and put A Practical Wedding: Creative Solutions for a Beautiful, Affordable, and Meaningful Celebration on the Amazon best seller list. Oh yes, we did. Our community is clearly all powerful.
To celebrate the launch of my amazing new website, and the publication of the long awaited APW book, today I am going to give a copy away to one awesome reader! You can read reviews of the book HERE and HERE. I think Maddie described this book so well: “What the APW book does differently from every other wedding book, blog, or magazine out there is it actually removes things from your to-do list rather than adding to it. Meg isn’t trying to convince you to buy more, do more, spend more. She just wants to make sure that the things you’re buying, doing, and spending on mean something to you. Did you just read that? It’s wedding literature that gives a shit that you’re a person. Novel.” Clearly this is not your typical WIC book.
So how do you get the book? Leave a comment on this blog post by 11:59pm on Sunday, December 11th, and please make sure to include your email address, so I can get in touch with you if you win. A winner will be drawn at random and announced on Monday, December 12th. I have pre-ordered the book, and it is scheduled to ship at the end of the month. Once it arrives, I will mail it out to you. GOOD LUCK! Thanks for entering!
And now the legal bit, so I don’t get in trouble with the powers that be: You must be at least 18 years old and a US resident to enter. Book is a $10 value. The number of eligible entries received determines the odds of winning. Once contacted, the winner will have 24 hours to claim their prize, or a new winner will be chosen. A Practical Wedding is NOT sponsoring this giveaway; I am the sole sponsor of the giveaway. No purchase necessary. Void where prohibited by law.
