I cannot complain about winter this year. If anything, I didn’t get enough winter this year. (Universe, if you send snow in April, I will shake my fist angrily at you!) But nevertheless… spring fever has set in. You guys… it is GLORIOUS here today. Almost 70 degrees, sunshiny… I am brokenhearted that I don’t have a wedding to photograph today because it’s just… perfect, in every possible way. And to celebrate the loveliness that is today, I will be sneaking out early this afternoon to get milkshakes with my friend Jessica at Shake Shack in Madison Square Park. I hope all of you will be doing something equally delicious… because that’s what today calls for.
Since I’m in such a springtime kind of mood, today’s Stuff I’m Loving centers around some things I’m looking forward to wearing this spring!
1. Schoolboy Blazer from J.Crew (I am so excited to put away my winter coat and traipse around the city in this super cute navy blue blazer. It goes with everything I own; I love it!) || 2. Chloe Bikini from Net-a-Porter (This is the one item on the list that I don’t actually own. It’s a little price-y, but it’s a goal I’m working toward. As you may or may not know, I’m going to Hawaii in May and I am currently working my ass off to be able to actually wear a bikini on the beach there, without feeling awkward. I just want to be more comfortable in my own skin. If I accomplish my goal, I might just reward myself with this. Or something similar and less expensive. ;-)) || 3. No. 2 Pencil Skirt from J.Crew (Clearly I have a serious J.Crew addiction. Don’t hold it against me. I just got this bright colored skirt and I’m obsessed with it! It’s so flattering on any frame, and it gives my wardrobe that perfect springtime pop of color I need. I will be wearing this to a lot of my weddings this spring.) || 4. Ballet Flats from TOMS (My new favorite pair of shoes! They are ridiculously comfortable and they look fantastic with jeans and skirts/dresses. I’m so happy to put away my boots and slip on flats everyday! Side note: If you get these, order a size smaller than what you normally wear – these run HUGE.)
Are you excited to put away your winter clothes? Did you buy anything new in a fit of spring fever, like I did? What are your spring-time staples?
