Kelly & Kingsley are an absolutely incredible couple, and I was fortunate enough to photograph their beautiful elopement in the Ladies Pavilion last fall. An elopement that came frighteningly close to not happening! Their wedding was actually supposed to happen the day before – a Thursday – but there was a snafu with the marriage license and they didn’t get it in time. Kelly called me frantically and asked if we could move the wedding to Friday. Amazingly, in the midst of one of my busiest times of year, I had the next day free. Their officiant – the always fantastic Judie Guild – did too. And so the whole party was moved to the next day, and once they got the marriage license sorted, everything else seemed to go off without a hitch!
Kelly & Kingsley traveled from the UK with their nearest and dearest, and holy cow – was this a well dressed group. The British have some serious style, and I loved the gorgeous hats their family wore. Watching Kelly & Kingsley blend their families together – including their children – was just beautiful. Kelly & Kingsley are very special people with huge hearts. I cannot gush enough over how much I loved photographing this wedding – every single person was such a delight. Especially their awesome kids!
