Iby & Chris Married! || Ladies Pavilion || New York City Elopement Photography

Iby & Chris decided that instead of spending on a huge wedding, they’d splurge on their honeymoon instead and have a small elopement. Considering they were going to Italy and France for their honeymoon, I think they made the right call. These two traveled up from Baltimore to marry at the Ladies Pavilion in Central Park on a perfect early fall day. We’ve had such a rainy fall, and I feel like this is one of the few weddings I’ve photographed in the last two months where it wasn’t raining.

I met Iby at her hotel room while she got ready, and after a sweet First Look in the hotel lounge, we were off to Central Park! I loved Iby & Chris’ ceremony – it was so personal and funny. Afterwards as we walked around taking portraits, these two just kept looking at each other and laughing, “Oh my gosh, we did it. We did it!” It was pretty much the cutest thing ever. At one point Iby suggested we do a “serious” photo without them grinning like crazy, but they couldn’t even get through 30 seconds without bursting into laughter. That’s always a good sign.

Iby & Chris – I absolutely adored working with you guys from beginning to end, and I wish you so much happiness!! xo
