Meg & Jared’s wedding was truly one of my favorites this year. These two are just lovely in every way and really trusted my creative vision, which I am always grateful for. They came down from Boston to elope at the site of their very first date: Coney Island. I had been wanting to photograph an elopement on Coney Island for a long time, so I was thrilled when they told me about their plan. I met them at the Box House Hotel in Brooklyn (which is amazing, by the way) where we took a vintage cab to Coney Island. Meg & Jared were so fun and easygoing – they made my job a breeze. We had incredible golden light that evening, and the results are just stunning! The three of us walked around Coney Island for a while, before heading to the pier to meet one of my favorite officiants – Genevieve Dreizen – for their short ceremony. Of course, no trip to Coney Island is complete without a visit to Nathan’s, so before heading back to the hotel, these two made sure to grab some hot dogs. Meg & Jared – thank you both for everything! Wishing you guys so much happiness!
