I am Breathing In, and I am Breathing Out

I am sitting in my hotel in the Dominican Republic right now, watching the Weather Channel. What If finished up yesterday, and I am supposed to be in New York City right now. The universe had other plans, in the form of a blizzard. Of course, there are worse places to be stuck.

This week was nonstop and internet was impossible to find, but I finally splurged on it tonight so I could monitor my flight. I need your good vibes to get home tomorrow, if you don’t mind.

I so desperately want to tell you about this week, about these people, about what I learned, and how my life changed. But when I start to describe it… it just doesn’t come out right. I think I still need a little bit of time to process the whole thing. What I will say is that my whole world changed in four days, and I am not exaggerating when I say I am coming home a completely different person.

I have been shaken to my core and challenged. I have sobbed and laughed and connected with people in an incredibly authentic, honest way. And I never, ever want to forget this feeling.

  • good vibes and thoughts sent your way!

  • Beautiful. I can’t wait to hear all about it!! I’ll pray the snow melts or comes to me in Maryland – we just got rain.

  • Great shots, and you definitely sell the conference. I’d love to hear more!

  • I have used the “I’m breathing in, I’m breathing out” thing more times than I’d like to admit since Natalie told us about it. Life. Changing. I can’t stop thinking about how much I’ve been changed! Now we must hold each other accountable for keeping the change!!! Love you and miss you so much!!! Sending good travel vibes! (Maybe the universe thought you needed more time to process it all???)

  • wow – seems so great there! .. and photo of Jonas is really so cool!
