Gwen & Erin are just plain awesome. I don’t have a better or more eloquent way of saying it. I loved these two so much, and being a part of their beautiful Central Park wedding was truly a wonderful experience.
I met them at their hotel room at The Jewel, where they had a sweet first look on their balcony, and then the three of us walked to Central Park together. We took some photographs around Gapstow Bridge before heading up to Cop Cot to meet their officiant, Judie Guild, and the small group of friends and family that had flown to New York from all over to be a part of their day. I’d never photographed a wedding at Cop Cot before, and it was so lovely and quiet, with beautiful light streaming in from behind.
After the ceremony, I kidnapped Gwen & Erin for a few more portraits while their guests left to wait for them at the restaurant where they were going to have their reception. We went up to Top of the Rock to capture the sunset light, and although it was absolutely packed up there, we were able to capture some really gorgeous photographs. Gwen & Erin – thank you both for everything!! Wishing you so much love!!
