Yesterday I photographed Jo & Michael’s beautiful Central Park elopement. And before I say anything else, I have to say – I adored working with these two and their amazing families so much!!
It was more like an October day than a July one – there was a chill in the air and leaves on the ground. After the crazy heat wave we’ve had this month, yesterday was such a welcome relief, and the most perfect day for a wedding outside. Jo & Michael’s wedding was so incredibly heartfelt and personal – Jo’s soon-to-be brother-in-law acted as officiant, they were married on Jo’s parent’s 35th wedding anniversary, and they had the most lovely ring warming ceremony. There was just so much love, and at one point during the ceremony, I’m pretty sure just about everyone was crying. I love weddings like that.
Jo & Michael – here’s a small sneak peek! Thank you both for being so incredibly kind and fun to work with in every way. It was truly wonderful to be a part of your day.
