Last month I photographed Justyna & Greg’s sunrise elopement on the High Line. Everything about this wedding was just perfect. Justyna & Greg were so much fun to work with, and they put so much trust in me – allowing me to be creative and bring a crazy vision I had in my head for their photographs to life. And I am incredibly grateful for that – nothing means more to me than when a client lets me run with my ideas. I could not be happier with what we ended up with.
I met these two at The Bowery where they were getting ready with the help of the always amazing Cari Duprey. After their First Look in front of the hotel, we hopped in a cab and headed to the High Line to meet Judie Guild, who officiated their beautiful ceremony. In the summer, if you want to get married on the High Line, you really have to do it at sunrise. We pretty much had the whole place to ourselves – a sharp contrast from how crazy busy it gets on summer afternoons.
After their ceremony, we spent some time taking portraits on the High Line, and exploring the Meatpacking District. I just love shooting down there – the cobblestone streets are so classic New York City.
Justyna & Greg – thank you so much for everything. I loved being a part of your wedding. You two are the best!!
