I photographed Sarah & Rob’s winter elopement a few days after the polar vortex in January. They were actually supposed to get married on the coldest day of the polar vortex, but after a delayed flight, we moved the wedding to a few days later. And I think we really lucked out. We would not have been able to be outside with the -15 degree temperatures on the originally scheduled wedding day.
I met Sarah & Rob at their hotel while they finished getting ready, and then we hopped on the subway to City Hall. After their ceremony, we were off to Brooklyn Bridge Park and Central Park. We had such spectacular light! It was so perfect. These two made my job such a piece of cake – they have such an ease with each other, and I think that comes across in every photograph.
Sarah & Rob – thank you guys for everything!
