During my off season earlier this year, I needed a project that was completely different than everything else I’ve ever done. I wanted a new challenge. I decided I wanted to try some fine art portraits of women in a studio setting, and I had so many volunteers after I announced the project. I spent the winter and early spring shooting these boudoir-type sessions, and I just fell in love with the editorial nature of the portraits. I learned so much about posing an individual, and it was such a great experience. It was so much fun for me to be creative in a completely different way. I’ll be blogging all of these sessions over the next few months.
