Yesterday evening I photographed portraits for the lovely Kasey & Nic, who had eloped at City Hall earlier in the day. We met up in Central Park at sunset, and we could not have asked for a more gorgeous evening. After raining all day, the skies cleared and we ended up with a perfect golden sunset. I love what we ended up with and here’s just a small sneak peek. Kasey & Nic – congratulations!
There is nothing I love more than having the opportunity to work with the same couples again and again. In 2012 I photographed Lorraine & Nik’s elopement, and a year later we did a portrait session in DUMBO when they came back to visit NYC again. Last week they were back again, and I was thrilled to photograph them once more. Despite living in the UK, they are becoming one of my most photographed couples! Much more to come from this one, but here’s a small sneak peek. Lorraine & Nik – I adore you two and it was so wonderful to photograph you guys again!
What is there even to say about this wedding? It was the opportunity of a lifetime, and officially wins the prize for greatest place I’ve ever photographed an elopement. When Craig & Mark told me their plans to marry on the Gershwin Theater stage – home of Wicked – I was pretty much speechless. There were so many moving parts that had to come together to make this happen, and I think until the moment we actually walked into the theater on the wedding day, I was a little nervous about whether or not it would all come together as planned. But it all went off without a hitch, and could not have been a more wonderful experience! After the ceremony, we headed to the Upper West Side and Riverside Park for portraits. The cherry blossoms were in full bloom, and we had a perfect evening.
I was so thrilled to share this experience with the always awesome Judie Guild, who officiated, and my talented friend Nicki, of De Nueva Photography, who second shot the ceremony with me. (Three of the ceremony images are hers – thanks for doing such an amazing job, Nicki!)
Craig & Mark – thank you SO much for being such a delight to work with from start to finish, and for allowing me to share this day with you! You two are THE BEST!
Yesterday I photographed the beautiful City Hall elopement of Samantha & Katia. I loved working with these two so much! After their quick ceremony, we headed off to Central Park for some portraits, and we couldn’t have had a more gorgeous, sunshine filled afternoon. (Although it was unusually HOT, and these two were such troopers in the heat!) Much more to come, but here’s a small sneak peek. Samantha & Katia – thank you for everything!
