Print Sale to Benefit International Rescue Committee

If you follow me on Instagram, you know I have been more politically active than usual lately. While I’ve always had activist tendencies, I have gotten too complacent in the last few years. I’ll be honest that the results of the election completely blindsided me, and I realized I cannot take our freedoms for granted anymore.

In the last few weeks, I have found myself calling my senators and representatives almost daily, protesting for the things I believe in, and donating money whenever I can to organizations that are out there doing the hard work to protect our rights and the rights of the most vulnerable people in society.

The Muslim ban has been particularly jarring. It’s one of the most unAmerican things I’ve ever witnessed in my lifetime. I have decided to use my work to raise money for one of the most important organizations helping refugees – International Rescue Committee. I have been a longtime supporter of this organization, and the work they are doing is more important now than ever. On January 29th, IRC launched a $5 million emergency appeal to help cover funding gaps tied to the Trump administration’s executive order. You can read more about their appeal here.

From now to March 3rd, I will be selling prints of my travel photography through my shop, and 100% of the profits will go to International Rescue Committee. You can buy prints ranging in size from 4×6 to 11×14, and each image is printed on Fuji Crystal Archive Deep Matte paper, guaranteed to last for 100 years. I am offering prints from a variety of locations, including Iceland, Italy, Hawaii, the Dominican Republic, Yellowstone National Park, and more. Once your order is placed, you can expect to receive your print within 7 business days. (These prints are unframed. If you live in NYC, I can recommend a few local places to have your images framed. If you live elsewhere, I highly recommend Framebridge for framing your photographs.) You can view the full gallery here: Prints to Benefit International Rescue Committee.

I am fully committed to fighting for the ideals I so dearly believe in and resisting this administration at every turn, in whatever way I can, particularly through my work. Thank you for joining me in this fight.
